499 SERIES: KVM CPU Extender with USB-C connection

The Draco ultra 499 Series extender card uses the compact USB-C connector to transmit DisplayPort and USB 2.0 over the same transport path based on the DP ALT mode. The 499 Series allows DisplayPort up to 4K30, USB-HID, embedded USB 2.0 and embedded digital audio all via a single USB-C input connection. It extends signals up to 140 meters over Cat-X or 10km over singlemode fibre. Ultra- High Definition resolutions for 3840 x 2160 or 4096 x 2160@30Hz are supported via IHSE’s 1G or 3G formats. With many computers
and laptops migrating to the USB-C connector style, the 499 series provide a simple interface connection without the need to run separate video and USB cables from the source to the extender unit. For critical workstation environments, the 499 series is offered in a version supporting redundant signal path. Two RJ-45 (copper Cat-X) or duplex LC (singlemode or multimode fibre connections allow parallel path transmission that can be connected in variations of backup, redundant, or parallel path configurations.
