492 Series KVM Extender for DVI Dual Link or Dual Head

The vario 492 series Dual-Link/Dual-Head extenders offer long distance transmission of Dual-Link DVI along with USB-HID. The Draco vario Dual- Head KVM extender enables the connection of two DVI monitors over a single Cat X or fibre cable, saving the expense of a second extender and reducing cabling cost and installation effort. When used in conjunction with KVM matrix systems, the Draco vario Dual-Head KVM extender saves valuable matrix ports. The Draco vario Dual Link KVM extender enables
the transmission of DVI signals to one single monitor up to 4K@30Hz resolution. Extension of signals requires a single DMS-59 data cable. The extenders are compatible with regular Single-Head/Single extenders: Consoles can access Single-Head/Single Link CPU Units instantaneously. In this situation, signals from Single-Head/Single Link sources are embedded within the Dual Link signal format and can be switched with no discernible switching delay. The units can extend high resolution video images, USB for keyboard and mouse, and other auxiliary signals up to 140m over Cat5e/6 or up to 10Km over single mode fibre. Other signal formats such as USB 2.0, Analog Audio, Digital Audio, RS-232 and RS-422 can be combined over the same connection link providing full bandwidth with no latency or reduction in image quality.
